NOTICE: TO LOG IN, YOUR BROWSER MUST ALLOW COOKIES. If you are using a valid username and password, please make sure your browser is not blocking cookies from our web site. You can keep your current privacy setting and tell your browser to allow cookies for PetRent.net by doing the following:

AOL 9.0 users:

  1. From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
  2. Select Internet [Web] Options
  3. Select Use your Internet Explorer Settings to set advanced browser options.
  4. Select the Privacy tab
  5. Select Advanced
  6. Deselect override automatic cookie handling button
  7. Click OK to exit.
  8. Restart your browser or refresh the page to make sure the changes have taken affect.

Internet Explorer users:

  1. Click on Tools and from the sub-menu choose Internet Options.
  2. In the window that appears, click on the Privacy tab at the tob of the box.
  3. Click on the Sites button.
  4. Where it says, Address of Website, type in http://www.petrent.net and click the Allow button.
You have just enabled your browser to accept cookies from our site and will be able to log in with a valid username and password. Click OK as necessary to close the menus. Netscape Users:

  1. Click on Tools and from the sub-menu choose Options.
  2. Click on Privacy from the very top of the menu.
  3. Click on Cookies from the tab in the middle of the box.
  4. Next to the statement Allow sites to set cookies, click the Exceptions button.
  5. Where it says Address of the Web Site, enter www.petrent.net and click the Allow button

A NOTE ABOUT BLOCKED LISTS: Most browsers have a list where you can block cookies from specific sites. Please make sure petrent.net is not on your blocked list. Below are a couple of examples of what the dialog box might look like:

OTHER SUGGESTIONS: Please be sure that your CAPS LOCK is turned off. Your username and password are case sensitive. For example, if your username is "lbj123" the following will fail: "Lbj123", "LBJ123". Please keep in mind, the lowercase letter L (l) and the number one (1) look similiar in some type faces. Please try both, if you are not sure which character is used in your login information. The same goes for the capital letter "O" and the number zero (0).
